Teaching tried-and-true methods, our Organizer Training program will give you the tools, tactics, and strategies you’ll need to build solidarity with your coworkers and take action to make real change at your job.

Developed over many years and by many IWW members, our organizer training program reflects the successes and lessons of countless campaigns and committees, and is being updated to incorporate new lessons and experiences constantly.

Organizer Training 101: Build the Committee

The Organizer Training 101 (OT101) is a skill-based training that will teach you the essential skills to organize a direct and democratic union at your job that will take action and win better working conditions for you and your coworkers.

Organizer Training 102: The Committee in Action

The Organizer Training 102 (OT102) will help take your organizing to the next level. Building upon the skills taught in the OT101 and developed on the shop floor, the OT102 looks at the strategy involved in maintaining a functioning union that can grow and build power on the job and across your industry for years

Attend a training

Both trainings take place over two eight-hour days. You won’t become an expert in two days, but you will leave with practical skills, a strategy and the enthusiasm to organize.
